KARYN

Karyn brings movement science to the people who need it most. With an MS in Exercise Science, a background in sports medicine and rehabilitation (PTA), and 15+ years designing health programs for large populations, she understands how bodies work - and what actually gets people to change. Now she teaches the bridge most people skip: the space between being a youthful active adult and preparing for a fit, functional life as we age, the work that increases healthspan and keeps us capable of doing the things that matter. Karyn specializes in strength and functional movement for deconditioned adults, midlife women, anyone rebuilding after injury or illness, and people committed to maintaining and improving their strength and conditioning as they age. Her approach is grounded in muscle health as comprehensive infrastructure: not just strength, but functional movement, balance, flexibility, and the integrated resilience that keeps bodies working well across a lifetime.

She is currently working to become comprehensively trained in the STOTT Pilates method (Pilates Reformer & Mat IMP and IR training completed; Advanced Mat and ISP training pending) and to earn ACSM-CPT certification.
