CATHY

Hi everyone!  Allow me to introduce myself: Since childhood I have been an avid seeker of movement—whether biking, swimming, running, or hiking, movement and recreating in the outdoors has always been where I’ve found both purpose and restoration. This deep-rooted connection to physical activity inspired a 35-year career in the health and wellness industry.

One of my greatest joys is motivating and coaching others to discover their inner strength and realize the potential of their own bodies. Over the years, I’ve taught thousands of group fitness classes, and I still feel a flutter of excitement every time I step into the studio. It’s an honor to build community through movement, motivation, and shared effort.

My teaching experience spans a wide variety of formats, including strength training, cardio, bootcamp, cycle, and Pilates Reformer. I hold a degree in Music Therapy, along with multiple certifications in group fitness and personal training, including NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist.

Today, I’m proud to serve as a Senior Operations Director for a local non-profit focused on improving the health and well-being of our communities. Outside of work, you’ll often find me teaching group fitness classes at a small neighborhood gym, biking as much as possible, and spending time outdoors. A lifelong St. Paul resident and proud parent of two adult children, I’m thrilled to be a coach at St. Paul Pilates and Fitness—especially as it’s allowed me to reconnect with longtime friends who were taking my classes 20–30 years ago.
