DAWN
Hi! Iām Dawn and my journey with Pilates began in 2018 after attending a continuing education course for Rehab Pilates. I was hooked! I felt like Pilates was the missing piece that was going to take my practice as a Physical Therapist to the next level. I continued my training and have completed the STOTT Rehab Mat and Reformer Pilates coursework. I have been a physical therapist for 21 years and have worked as a Pilates instructor for over 5 years. I have a doctorate in physical therapy and a BS in Kinesiology. I have long been passionate about the human body and movement sciences. As an instructor you can expect fun, challenging workouts while also learning about your body and how to modify your workout to accommodate for injury or pain. My goal is to guide and empower you to be strong, confident and get the most out of every workout.
When not at work, I enjoy staying fit by running, walking, lifting weights and doing Pilates. I love to seize the seasons of Minnesota and can found, biking, hiking, cross country skiing and stand up paddleboarding as often as I can. My husband, three kiddos and I love to spend long weekends at our cabin and enjoy the unplugged simplicity of being up north. I am an avid reader and love to cook and am always up for swapping recipes and book suggestions.
